Thule HideAway Awning for ProMaster or Sprinter - Roof Mount - 8' Long x 10' 8" Wide
Doesn't easily mount to Promaster. I have Thule's specific Promaster mount kit. Still don't have it installed and Thule hasn't been much help. Very disappointed.
well I ordered a 10'Hideway awning, instead I got a 10' thule omnistor 6300 awning, this did not fit my unaka 136"van rack. The adapter unaka brackets did not fit. so I retroed the aluminum brackets to fit, its not a great fit, but it works. I emailed your company to ensure I had the right awning, but the wrong one was sent.

Thule HideAway Awning - Wall Mount - Waterproof - 8' Long x 9' 10" Wide
When I received the awning it had been damaged in shipment despite the extra burly packaging. It had been severely bent in the middle but instead of returning it I decided to bend it back into shape with clamps etc. I was successful for the most part, there are only some ripples in the outer shell and one of the poles doesn’t extend freely. The installation was put on hold while I did body work on the van and had it painted. Then I got injured skiing and here we are a year after the purchase and have just installed it. Of course the mounting brackets don’t fit the shape of my ‘95 Toyota hiace so I shimmed them and they seem to work well now. (photos attached) The awning deploys easily and I am surprised how far out it extends. The poles can mount to your vehicle with the supplied brackets or go straight to the ground vertically depending on your situation. I look forward to taking it out camping to enjoy the shade.
A year later and with lots of use this has been worth every penny! I have used it a lot and its as nice as new. So easy to setup or “hideaway”. Truly love it!

Thule HideAway Awning - Roof Rack Mount - Waterproof - 8' Long x 10' Wide
I've been on the hunt for this awning for over a year as its been out of stock. There are other options out there for the Sprinter van but this one was the best choice for my rack. You do need to purchase the mounting brackets separately, which come with different options for attaching to crossbars amd roof rails. I had some roof rail pucks laying around that I used to attach the brackets too. This is very versatile and can be set up with the legs on the ground or with the Thule optional brackets(Purchase separately) that attach the legs to the van..this is great if setting up on a hard surface or if you need to keep your dog on a lead and not get tangled up.the only tricky part for me is that my van is tall so once I get the awning out about 2 ft, I have to hop in the van and get the legs out- no biggie.this is very nicely made and easy to set up take down. Lots of optinal accessories as well
After a ton of research I chose the Hideaway roof rack mount awning for my Ford Transit van conversion project. The awning was easy to mount, (did so in about 1 hour with help of my wife). I mounted my roof rack mounting brackets upside down onto my home-made roof rack and it fits beautifully.

Rhino-Rack Batwing Awning - Roof Rack Mount - Bolt On - Passenger's Side - 118 Sq Ft
The awning is as described. It very useful. Love having it and love using it.
This thing is overall awesome. I had to get new crossbars for my Yakima with the T channel for it to more easily fit but once I did this thing screws on easily and stays put during driving 80+ MPH. Deploying is quick and fairly easy, but I have followed other's recommendations and secured the support arms to the ground as I go because the joints that connect the arms to the awning body are plastic and meant to break it seems. I haven't so far cracked one in windy places with this technique. Setting this thing up in parking lots, or rocky/hard ground places though is a bit more difficult. I've found that if I bring weights (kettlebells is what I have) and use the support ropes/cords to attach them to these, I can set the awning up fairly reliably and without too much risk of it blowing up and breaking. I wish there was some addon I could purchase, like weights that I could secure around the support arms so that they weighed down and I could use this in hard grounded areas more easily. One more thing is you can tell this is not fully resistant to UV and solar radiation. On high sun/UV index days you can still feel the sun while resting in the shade. So be aware and still use sunscreen or protective layers while using it in sunny locales.

Thule HideAway Awning for ProMaster or Sprinter - Roof Mount - 8' Long x 12' 3" Wide
We replaced our Carefree awning with the Thule manual hideaway awning on our Travato 59G. It was an easy replacement and it did not require any modifications or calibrations. Another great side of the Thule awning is you can secure the awning with tie downs which protects the awning from instant surprising wind gusts.
Seems to be of good quality will see when we use a few times. The directions are terrible however

Rhino-Rack Batwing Awning - Roof Rack Mount - Bolt On - Driver's Side - 118 Sq Ft
Absolutely love this awning. Installation was an absolute riot doing it alone but I got it done. Deploying and closing the awning takes just a couple minutes alone too. A lot of folks complain about the plastic brackets -- but it's actually a genius design. If you get lazy and put the awning down without staking it -- a gust will blow it over and snap the brackets instead of bending the awning. They're super cheap and easy to replace; I just keep a spare set on me. 5/5 awning.
I love the awning although was very upset when I found out that the manufacturer did not offer brackets that would mount it onto my van, a Chrysler Pacifica. Also I had an incident where a gust of wind caught the awning as I was taking it down. The hinges that were made of plastic snapped . So they needed to be replaced. That was easy enough to do but should be made of a better material.

Rhino-Rack Dome Awning - Roof Rack Mount - Bolt On - 8' 2" Long x 8' 4" Wide
I mounted this awning to the back of my pick up cap. I chose this one for the dome shape so the rear door of the cap could be opened under the awning with little interference. Feels well made. And the awning easily mounted to a Rhino Rack roof track to make it look stealthy and snug to the roof. Only negative, is the dome tent poles are difficult to install in the pockets, but I assume this will get easier with use and as the temperature outside increases. I should have bought some sand screws for the beach.
The Rhino-Rack Dome 1300 is a great addition to my Toyota Tacoma. I use my Tacoma for transporting SCUBA gear and the Awning is great for having shade at a dive site. Easy to setup and take down.
