I would like to have the actual distance from the weld joint to the hitch pin hole of 4 1/2". This unit is slightly less than that.

Product is just what we needed and we put it to use immediately with no problems. It enables us to freely engage the rear lift door of our vehicle with my handicap scooter loaded on it's carrier. Great for us.

I have a Can Am Defender and the actual hitch is up under the back end so when I hooked up a trailer, I couldn't raise or lower the trailer without the crank handle hitting the tail gate, now I have plenty clearance and I love it.
