Installed: 9/12/2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Installation of the plug was a quick and easy. The existing Warrior hitch has a tab on the side for a trailer wiring socket. Drill a new hole on the installation bracket (comes with the trailer connector) so the bracket on the hitch matches bracket on the trailer connector. Done deal. This is the only trailer connector I found which has the 7, 5 and 4 connector options. Flexibility is always a good idea when you are borrowing someone else trailer or renting.

Great product and thanks to etrailer.com for the excellent videos detailing how to install the Demco Stay-In-Play Duo braking system. As a result of watching all of the available videos, I learned that there where a couple of different ways to install the system in our Jeep Wranglers. The first installation I did was in our 2019 Wrangler and that was super easy following the one video on your website. The second installation of the system was not as easy because our 2021 Wrangler has a manual transmission and required having to drill a hole in the firewall/floor board to run the wiring and vacuum tube from the passenger compartment to the engine area. If etrailer.com ever has an installation on a Jeep Wrangler with a manual transmission to perform, hopefully they will video tape that installation to guide customers with Jeeps with manual transmissions. I think etrailer.com's idea of mounting the control box on the fuse box is by far the cleanest and easiest way to install the Demco braking system. I also followed etrailer.com's videos for installing the brake light system and the base plate on both our Wranglers and could not be happier with them. Thanks etrailer for all you offer.

I do not recommend this product. I bought this for my truck. It seems to be the nicest looking plug on the market but after the first rain, the plug was filled with water. I changed the location from the hitch to the bumper and once again the plug was filled with water after it rained. This condition will obviously lead to terminals corroding and/or wires being shorted out. I have bought a different style plug, unfortunately the same brand but hopefully I will have better luck. May be able to drill a small drain hole in the casing to allow water to escape but shouldn't have to do this on a new product.

I bought this socket for my 2006 Volvo Xc90 to wire in the 4-Pole harness I also purchased from etrailer. Already had a few 7 Blade to 4-Pole adapters from my previous vehicle, and wanted the option of adding a trailer brake wire for a small camper later on so that was the main reason for the purchase. It also went very well with the Hidden Hitch I had already installed, bracket mounted right up to the existing tabs on the hitch. Super quick and easy install, as all of my etrailer purchases have been. Looks great on the truck, and functions great with the 180 Degree cover.

Wiring harness and flat tow bracket to be able to tow our new Wrangler behind our motorhome. Product arrived on time and everyone was most pleasent to deal with. had the bracket installed by the dealre we bought the Wrangler from as part of that deal and then did the wiring ourselves. Product arrived on time and as described. I used this for setting up our 2014 Wrangler Unlimited Sahara for a flat tow. Mounting hole spacing @ 2" o/c didn't match our Blue Ox 1126 draw bar so I fabricated my own intermediate bracket, polished it to aircraft tooling standards, then lacquered it before final assembly. I think the finished product came out nice.

Overall, I was very impressed by this connector. I used it as an in-bed connector for my gooseneck trailers. The plug seems to be a quality product, engineered to stand up to some abuse. I like how the mounting bolt heads recess into the connector and also how the bottom of the connector is elongated to help support the weight of the plug and wiring. I think it has a great shot at lasting for a very long time. The hinge is predominately plastic that will not corrode and break like the many I've had in the past.

The Roadmaster 4 wire connector is very good quality to connect my vehicle to motorhome.

We just finished a makeover of our 1995 boat trailer. New bunks, sanded and painted but the best part of the project was the new LED lights from your company. They are so much brighter than the old incandescent bulbs that you really do feel safer driving down the road. We pulled the 20 year old wire out and replaced with new and used the 3M scotch loks to tie in. We were not sure the new style grommets would fit the old holes in the frame but they fit great. Your customer service was great, alerting me to a backordered reflector but recommended a replacement that worked fine. Patrick set up a Q&A page for me since I had questions about the best way to protect connections with dielectric grease, heat shrink and tape. Your website is one of the best with ease of navigation, complete pictures, great selection and thorough info, dimensions, etc. You guys really have your act together and also offer great value. The screws that holds the wires are to small. I would have liked them to be more robust. But it did work, but since I just installed it I can’t attest to it’s longevity.

Installed and tested and seems to work perfectly. To be perfectly honest, my vehicle was NOT on the list of those that this part will fit. But I saw on another post elsewhere that someone had had success with this and I thought it was worth the gamble. I just installed this myself in about 20 minutes, thanks to a YouTube video. The dealer is quoting 70 bucks for this part plus installation which I heard can be as much as $200 more. I just did it myself in 20 minutes for $18. Thank you so much. Check out my pics.

Packaged very well and delivered when expected. No defects noted with this products condition. I have not mounted the connector on the truck yet or operationally tested it but there's nothing to lead me to believe that it wouldn't perform as advertised.
