Features to know about

Weather Protection for All Seasons: Rubber Boot Cover

For those who tow in all kinds of weather, keeping your wiring terminals protected from the elements is crucial. The Pollak 6-Pole, Round Pin Trailer Wiring Socket is equipped with a durable rubber boot cover that seals off the terminals, keeping moisture, dust, and grime out. This feature ensures the longevity and reliability of your connections, so you never have to worry about corrosion or resistance affecting your trailer's electrical components.

Effortless Installation and Maintenance: Spring-Loaded Lid and Die-cast Metal Housing

Forget the fuss of complicated setups. This connector features a spring-loaded lid that not only makes installation a breeze but also keeps the interior clean and dry when not in use. Crafted from die-cast metal, the housing stands up to the rigors of regular towing, offering a robust and resilient alternative to fragile plastic connectors. It’s a smart choice for those tired of dealing with breakage and replacements.

Experience Seamless Connectivity: Split Brass Pins and Dielectric Grease

Towing shouldn't be a guessing game when it comes to reliable connectivity. The Pollak socket uses round, split brass pins that ensure a secure, low-resistance connection every time. Each pin is coated in non-conducting dielectric grease, helping prevent corrosion and maintaining consistent electrical performance across all connections. It’s reassurance in every mile.

Designed for Fit and Functionality: Precision Mounting Dimensions

Get the perfect fit with mounting dimensions that cater to precise installations. The 6-pole socket mounts effortlessly with a 1-3/8" diameter hole and 2-3/4" spacing between mounting holes. It’s securely held by 1/4" screws, guaranteeing that your wiring setup stays put, even on bumpy rides. Plus, its thoughtful design seamlessly integrates with your existing setup.

Perfect for Multiple Applications: Versatile Wiring Configuration

Whether you’re towing campers, trailers, or utility vehicles, the Pollak socket’s versatile wiring configuration covers all essentials—the White circuit for Ground Return, and the color-coded connections for Tail Lights, Left and Right Turns, Stop/Electric Brakes, and Auxiliary Circuits. It’s engineered for adaptability, meeting the needs of various towing setups with ease.

Built for Durable Connections: Heavy-Duty Performance

When you're dealing with serious towing tasks, you need equipment that stands up to tough conditions. This Pollak connector takes the stress out of heavy-duty towing with its ability to handle wire gauges up to #12, making it ideal for both professional and recreational towing needs. It’s designed to last and perform, pairing perfectly with setups like Blue Ox, ensuring a secure and resilient tow every time.

6-Way vehicle end trailer connector includes a rubber boot and connects the terminals from the elements.

Used this as the connection point for the Roadmaster diode wiring kit. Seems to be well made and will hopefully last a long time. I did spray paint it flat black so it blends into the front bumper of my “toad” a little better.

Working fine, painted it black to match the grill on my “toad”

by:

Very sturdy and secure attachment, much better than the cheaper plastic ones that I have had break before. However, the rubber boot doesn't stay around the wire attachments

by:

Didn't break like the plastic one did!

by:

It's only a socket. It's metal bodied, so it's more resistant to wear and tear than the plastic one that broke prior to me buying this one. I wish the rest of my tow system was as flawless as the wiring has been...notice the repair weld in the photo.Attach any photos of the product you would like included to this email.

by:

Base plate and all hardware worked well and fit like a glove, instructions were easy to understand great product

by:

I replaced a 6 place plastic plug with a heavy duty metal plug. Much more resilient. Excellent price and was received a day earlier than expected. We'll done all around!

by:

Great product! Great price!

by:

much more durable that plastic models

by:

Best one on the market

by:

Very pleased with product, easy to use and install

by:

Fantastic customer service. We called to get help in ordering all of the correct items for our tow install. They were so much help. If we hadn't called we would have ordered a battery disconnect switch that would not have worked on our vehicle.
We knew when we ordered that the brake system was out of stock. They immediately contacted us to let us know how long it would be to receive it before processing our order.
We asked if the other items could be shipped separately so we could start the install.
They shipped them out right away and provided tracking every step of the way.
Kudos to a great company that cares!
Will always shop here for now on for all of our RV needs.
Thank you!

by:

The documentation for wiring is limited and difficult to read without magnification. Otherwise this is well made and works perfectly.

by:

Easy to install, not a mechanic myself, but it was done in less than 30 minutes.

by:

This connector replaced the connector installed by my RV dealer on my towed vehicle. It broke on our first trip because it was plastic. This connector is very sturdy and is holding up very well.

by:

Quality product. Perfect fit to mount to Blue Ox base plate mounting studs.

by:

I couldn't be happier with my purchase - courteous, helpful service over the phone when ordering, prompt delivery, clear instructions, first-class product at a reasonable price. I was able to mount the solenoid and complete the wiring in less than an hour. Thanks for everything. Keep up the good work!

by:

Another simple replacement. Enough said.

Product works great and easy install.
Needed
for flat towing jeep with battery charging.

by:

Easy to install. Purchased this model because plastic cap covered models break easily in cold weather. Instructions are a bit vague, could be better.

by:

Fits my Blue Ox Avail setup perfectly Solid, well made connector.

by:

Very easy to use. No little set screw to remove to pull apart. Hook up the wires and slip the rubber boot over and you're done.

by:

love this 6 pin tow car connector. Good quality at a good price.

by:

Exactly what I wanted. Product was as described and arrived when promised.
Friendly and informative people on the phone were knowledgeable and knew their products. I will shop here again.

by:

I got great service from Etrailer, high quality product and was as good as expected

by:

  • Parts Needed For Flat Towing a 2024 Ford Maverick Behind a 2010 Winnebago Journey With Air Brakes
First of all you will need the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit 524470-5 # RM97RR for your 2024 Ford Maverick. The item # RM39FR you found is Roadmaster part number 524465-5 which fits certain Ford Escapes. Do understand the baseplate above does not use a crossbar. If you have a set of tow bars like the Sterling # RM-576 it requires a Crossbar # 910021-00 and you would use the Base Plate # RM37RR. For the electrical/lighting you will need the Wiring Kit # RM-154 and the 6-Pin...

Assuming you have a standard 6-way plug and not the proprietary Lance plug on your camper you can use the # HM47085. This will plug into the 7-way on the bumper of your truck and connect to the 6-way on the camper. If you have the Lance plug, you will either need to get the Lance adapter or replace the connector with # A7WCB. If you replace the connector you could use an extension like the # C56080. If you're wanting to use the 4-way on the rear of the truck then you would need to add...

  • How Would a 2000 Land Rover Discovery II Wire to Connect to a Trailer with 6-Way
The only solution we are going to be able to provide is for you to cut off your Euro style connector that you have on your 2000 Land Rover Discovery II and install a 6-way that matches your trailer. You would need a 6-way like the part # PK11608 and would need to wire up the connector by function to the diagram I attached. There are two ways that a 6-way can be wired up so you would need to match how yours is wired on your trailer. The difference will be the 12 volt accessory circuit...

  • What is the Mounting Hole Spacing for Pollak Vehicle Side 6-Pole Trailer Connector
I went out to the warehouse and pulled Pollak 6-pole vehicle side connector # PK11608 to measure the mounting hole spacing for you. The holes are 2-3/4 inches apart on center. The vehicle and trailer side connectors are different. The trailer side that would plug in is # PK11604. But in a flat towing set up (towing a vehicle behind a motor home) the vehicle side connector would be at the front of the towed vehicle. The replacement Blue Ox model is # BLU43XR.

  • Repairing Trailer Connector on Recently Purchased Pop-Up Camper
To answer your question, you'll need to determine the function of those other two wires. If I had to guess, I'd say your pop-up most likely has a 6-way connector. One of the unknown wires is probably for trailer brakes and the other one is likely a 12-volt accessory power feed to the trailer, most likely used to maintain an on-board battery. The power feed doesn't have enough push to charge a dead battery, but it can provide enough power to keep a charged battery topped off. You'll need...

  • What is the Purpose of The Screw On The Side of The Pollak 6-Pole Socket 11-607 # PK11608?
The screw on the side of the Pollak 6-Pole, Round Pin, Trailer Wiring Socket 11-607 # PK11608 allows you to remove the connector core. When you remove the screw you will be able to remove the core for connecting the wiring. This allows you to more easily make changes to the wiring without having to remove the whole connector. This should be snug inside the connector otherwise it would allow it to move inside the connector.

The blue wire would connect to the brake controller output circuit, the red wire would carry the 12-volt accessory feed from the battery (run through a # 9510 circuit breaker) and the white wire would ground to the vehicle frame.
