Used this as the connection point for the Roadmaster diode wiring kit. Seems to be well made and will hopefully last a long time. I did spray paint it flat black so it blends into the front bumper of my “toad” a little better.

Working fine, painted it black to match the grill on my “toad”

by:

It's only a socket. It's metal bodied, so it's more resistant to wear and tear than the plastic one that broke prior to me buying this one. I wish the rest of my tow system was as flawless as the wiring has been...notice the repair weld in the photo.Attach any photos of the product you would like included to this email.

Quality product. Perfect fit to mount to Blue Ox base plate mounting studs.

by:

Good product, looks good on Jeep, preceded by good service.

by:

Great product! Great price!

by:

Easy to install, not a mechanic myself, but it was done in less than 30 minutes.

by:

love this 6 pin tow car connector. Good quality at a good price.

by:

Fantastic customer service. We called to get help in ordering all of the correct items for our tow install. They were so much help. If we hadn't called we would have ordered a battery disconnect switch that would not have worked on our vehicle.
We knew when we ordered that the brake system was out of stock. They immediately contacted us to let us know how long it would be to receive it before processing our order.
We asked if the other items could be shipped separately so we could start the install.
They shipped them out right away and provided tracking every step of the way.
Kudos to a great company that cares!
Will always shop here for now on for all of our RV needs.
Thank you!

Nice solid unit

I couldn't be happier with my purchase - courteous, helpful service over the phone when ordering, prompt delivery, clear instructions, first-class product at a reasonable price. I was able to mount the solenoid and complete the wiring in less than an hour. Thanks for everything. Keep up the good work!

by:

This connector replaced the connector installed by my RV dealer on my towed vehicle. It broke on our first trip because it was plastic. This connector is very sturdy and is holding up very well.

by:

Have not installed yet, but is exactly what I needed.

Bay was incredibly knowledgeable and walked me through the ordering process.

by:

Another simple replacement. Enough said.

In a commercial envirnment, they are working well.

by:

Easy to install. Purchased this model because plastic cap covered models break easily in cold weather. Instructions are a bit vague, could be better.

by:

This is exactly what I thought it would be & expected. If anybody reads this buy this one and not the plastic one. Good quality I plan on installing it tomorrow

by:

Havent installed it yet but it arrived as scheduled

by:

Exactly what I wanted. Product was as described and arrived when promised.
Friendly and informative people on the phone were knowledgeable and knew their products. I will shop here again.

by:

Very easy to use. No little set screw to remove to pull apart. Hook up the wires and slip the rubber boot over and you're done.

by:

No surprises...It works.

by:

received it in record time but no instructions for the installation.

by:

Ashley was great, figured out exactly what parts we needed for our project and got them out to us quickly. Happy Towing...

by:

Mounts easily, connections are secure and water tight. Makes connecting to toad quick and solid.

  • What is the Purpose of The Screw On The Side of The Pollak 6-Pole Socket 11-607 # PK11608?
The screw on the side of the Pollak 6-Pole, Round Pin, Trailer Wiring Socket 11-607 # PK11608 allows you to remove the connector core. When you remove the screw you will be able to remove the core for connecting the wiring. This allows you to more easily make changes to the wiring without having to remove the whole connector. This should be snug inside the connector otherwise it would allow it to move inside the connector.

  • How Would a 2000 Land Rover Discovery II Wire to Connect to a Trailer with 6-Way
The only solution we are going to be able to provide is for you to cut off your Euro style connector that you have on your 2000 Land Rover Discovery II and install a 6-way that matches your trailer. You would need a 6-way like the part # PK11608 and would need to wire up the connector by function to the diagram I attached. There are two ways that a 6-way can be wired up so you would need to match how yours is wired on your trailer. The difference will be the 12 volt accessory circuit...

  • Availability of 6-way and 4-Pole Trailer Connector
We do offer a 6-way/4-pole connector, part # 37175. This is meant to be an adapter that would plug into an existing 4-pole. If your vehicle already has a functional 4-pole, you'd just plug it into the adapter, and you'd have 3 wires remaining. The blue wire would connect to the brake controller output circuit, the red wire would carry the 12-volt accessory feed from the battery (run through a # 9510 circuit breaker) and the white wire would ground to the vehicle frame. If you don't already...

  • What is the Mounting Hole Spacing for Pollak Vehicle Side 6-Pole Trailer Connector
I went out to the warehouse and pulled Pollak 6-pole vehicle side connector # PK11608 to measure the mounting hole spacing for you. The holes are 2-3/4 inches apart on center. The vehicle and trailer side connectors are different. The trailer side that would plug in is # PK11604. But in a flat towing set up (towing a vehicle behind a motor home) the vehicle side connector would be at the front of the towed vehicle. The replacement Blue Ox model is # BLU43XR.

  • Recommended 7-Way RV Plug for 2005 Ford F-250 Truck Bed And 6 Way Plug Availability For Gooseneck
To put a 7-way connector in the bed of your 2005 Ford F-250, I'd recommend the Curt 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Custom Wiring Harness w/ 7-Pole Connector - 10' Long, # C56000. This will allow you to simply connect to your current 7-way plug at the rear of your truck without any splicing and will allow you access to use either connector at all times. If you want to connect a 7-way and a 6-way round at the bed, I'd recommend the Pollak 5th Wheel and Gooseneck Trailer Connector Wiring Harness w/...

  • Custom Mounting Brackets To Secure 6-Pin and Breakaway Switch On a 2018 Ford Expedition
The brackets were custom fabricated in our shop for mounting the 6-Pin Connector # PK11608 and breakaway switch. This can be better seen in the video for the Demco SBS Second Vehicle Kit # SM99209 installed on the same 2018 Ford Expedition. I have linked the install video below along with the video for the Charge Line Kit # RM-156-25 you found. We do not manufacture these and they will need to be fabricated either by the shop installing them or by yourself.

  • Repairing Trailer Connector on Recently Purchased Pop-Up Camper
To answer your question, you'll need to determine the function of those other two wires. If I had to guess, I'd say your pop-up most likely has a 6-way connector. One of the unknown wires is probably for trailer brakes and the other one is likely a 12-volt accessory power feed to the trailer, most likely used to maintain an on-board battery. The power feed doesn't have enough push to charge a dead battery, but it can provide enough power to keep a charged battery topped off. You'll need...

  • Adapter to Connect 6-Way on Lance Camper to 7-Way on 2016 Chevy Silverado 2500
Assuming you have a standard 6-way plug and not the proprietary Lance plug on your camper you can use the # HM47085. This will plug into the 7-way on the bumper of your truck and connect to the 6-way on the camper. If you have the Lance plug, you will either need to get the Lance adapter or replace the connector with # A7WCB. If you replace the connector you could use an extension like the # C56080. If you're wanting to use the 4-way on the rear of the truck then you would need to add...

First of all you will need the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit 524470-5 # RM97RR for your 2024 Ford Maverick. The item # RM39FR you found is Roadmaster part number 524465-5 which fits certain Ford Escapes. Do understand the baseplate above does not use a crossbar.
