Thule Passage Trunk Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - Hanging Style
When we bought our 2013 Explorer, there was no bike rack available that would fit it. We were thrilled to find this rack for our car. The instructions were easy to follow and the rack performed as expected. During the 100 miles from home to college, we could see our child's bike out that back window sitting solidly in place.
One of the bolts where the numbers are would only screw in half way. Everything else was easy to put together. The hooks that are on the side are not very stable on my Ford Explorer. They tend to slide up on to the glass back window. I tied the loose ends of those straps across and down lower to hold the hooks in lower position off the back window.

Thule Passage 3 Bike Carrier - Trunk Mount
I bought the 3 bike carrier last minute for a trip we were taking from Mass to North Carolina. The bikes were secure the whole way and definiltey would recommend this product.
Way too light duty for what is advertised. It seemed to be made out of 1/2 inch electrical conduit. I would never put three bikes on that rack. I only had two bikes on the rack. While on trip through Idaho the wind was so strong that one of the bikes partially blew off the rack. We traveled 1,800 miles and upon arriving home I actually sawed the bike rack up and threw it away so that no one else would use it and cause an accident. I've already found a different brand that is HEAVY DUTY and I will stick with that brand.

Yakima FullBack 2 Bike Rack - Trunk Mount - Adjustable Arms
Great Experience! Fast Shipping! Rack fits perfectly on my car. Only thing, they could have mentioned that there is an adapter bar needed for lady bikes.
Excellent product, couldn't be happier with the choice of rack. Fits my explorer well and is easy to put on/take off. Protects bikes and vehicle well

Yakima FullBack 3 Bike Rack - Trunk Mount - Adjustable Arms
Performed perfectly on a 140 mile round-trip in my 2017 Acura MDX. It took me a few tries to position the anchors inside the top of the hatch, but I got the hang of it and the rack did not shift at all while driving 50-60 mph on the highway.
After searching for a bike rack for my 2015 Hyundai Sonata, I settled on the Yakima Fullback 3. I initially wanted a roof rack so I could carry my bikes and kayaks, but my options with the panoramic sunroof were limited and expensive. Part of the Sonata trunk lid is plastic so I was very hesitant to use a trunk mounted rack. It seemed that most Sonata owners were using a trunk mount rack, so I placed my order on a Sunday evening. etrailer shipped it the next day and I received the rack on Thursday. It took about 10 minutes to unpack, read the instructions and install it. I put both my mtb and road bike on and went for a test ride. The rack was more stable than the hitch mounted rack I had on my old vehicle, and the best part was it didn't scratch my paint. It keeps the bike pedals far away from my bumper, and it was one of only a few racks that would clear my factory spoiler. It folds up and I can stick it in my trunk while I ride. The only reason for the 4 stars is that the rack is fairly heavy. It would be nice if Yakima could find a way to lighten it up while keeping the rigidity and price where it is now. Otherwise, I'm completely satisfied with the rack and the service from etrailer.
Thule Trunk Bike Racks Review - 2016 Ford Explorer
Today on our 2016 Ford Explorer, we're going to be test fitting the Thule Raceway Pro Two Bike Rack, part number TH9001PRO. We already have a bike installed on the rack. Let's go ahead and take a closer look and show off some of the features. The first feature I would like to show is the integrated cable lock here. You pull it out, wrap it around the bike in the front, attach it to this point here and lock it for additional security to prevent theft and tampering. It grabs your bike by three points. You have two straps up at the top here and one out to the side.
Thule Trunk Bike Racks Review - 2016 Ford Explorer TH9006XT
Today, on our 2016 Ford Explorer, we're going to be test fitting a Thule Gateway XT2 bike rack, part # TH9006XT. We already have a bike installed on the rack, let's go and take a closer look and show off some of the features. How the bike is actually attached to the rack, we're going to have three points of contact with the bike's frame. We're going to have two straps, up at the top here and one off to the side. That's going to serve as an anti squeeze trap to keep the bike from moving too far back and forth and possibly damaging the bikes in front of it. Let's go and take that off and set that aside. With the bike in this position, I'm going to go ahead and give you a quick measurement.
