I purchased both the parts of the tow system. I just purchase a Jeep Grand Cherokee (99) to pull behind our motorhome for week end trips. We just returned from the first week-end with access to a vehicle to move around the area, and short trips to town. It adds a wonderful dimension to the experience. This system allowed us to pull this vehicle with our motorhome, and I can say it pulled as if there was nothing behind me. It was quick to hook up, and easy to un-hook. My labor time to install was about 2 1/2 Hours, and went smoothly. This is a wonderful product, and works as desired. Towed a 4 door Rubicon with Dodge 2500 truck. The tow bar did great on the 2000+ mile trip. The bar is very easy to couple and uncouple.

The Blue Ox is perfect for my needs. I use it to tow my 2004 Tacoma, with after market Warn locking hubs, behind my truck camper. The tow bar is easy to hook up and remove and tows like a dream. I would recommend for this purpose highly.

I bought this Blue Ox 5000lbs capacity tow bar because my Subaru Crosstrek only weighs 3100lbs and maybe 3300lbs while fully loaded with gear. I also wanted a simple tow bar that didn't break the bank. This item arrived in less than two days. The Tow Bar fits perfectly in the back of the Subaru when not in use.

Product shipped without one of the locking pins which caused me to question the overall quality of the product. I contacted etrailer regarding the missing locking pin and explained that the product was worthless without it and was assured that it would be sent immediately. It was sent out the same day with USPS with a one-week expected delivery! Keep in mind the original order (which was very heavy) was here in a couple of days. Given the major inconvenience, etrailer couldn't spring for some expedited shipping! Sad!
