--------------This is a very strong hitch with an innovative mount.-------------------- I have been using the hitch for about a year now. I purchased the combo kit with the gooseneck in bed parts as well as the 5th wheel assembly. I purchased this unit because it can provide both the gooseneck and 5th wheel modes. I installed mine in a 2014 RAM 3500 DRW which already has the basic structure under the bed so the install went very well. I completed the install at home, which took about 4-5 hours. The instructions are clear and easy to follow, plus there are several installation demonstration videos online for my exact truck, so after watching those it was no problem. The 5th wheel works well with no squeaks or rattles. I pull a 35' 13,500lb toy hauler. The hitch parts are made of thick heavy steel which really gives confidence it will pull the heavy loads. The king pin jaws also seem a bit larger and more heavy duty than other hitches with the same ratings. The hitch also has a lot of adjustments both up and down, and for and aft, which helped to dial in the hitch very well to my trailer. It does convert from 5th wheel to gooseneck easy enough. Just remember it does require a socket to relieve the tension on the gooseneck adapter before it can be released. This is not a big deal, just makes sure to bring a wrench along if you are planning to swap modes while away from home. There is only one small aspect that keeps me from rating the hitch as excellent. I have noticed that the paint/coating scrapped of rather easily in the mouth of the coupler. I guess I rubbed the side of the mouth with the trailer pin when coupling up and it caused the paint to scrape off. Since then the coating is also starting to peel all around the jaw area.

Installed Companion hitch on a 2014 3500 SRW Ram. Instructions where straight forward and easy to follow. It took about 2 hours with basic hand tools. It looks like a factory install and I love that it leaves nothing in the bed of the truck. Putting in the hitch in to tow only takes 5 minutes. All you need is a torque wrench and you are ready to go.

Due to the low price of this hitch I was wary of its quality, but now after 1 year of use with a 30' Jayco fifth wheel and sometimes double towing with a 3000 lb trailer behind the 5th wheel I have complete confidence in this hitch. I installed it in a 2014 Ram 2500 with Ram Boxes using a Reese Sidewinder. The only modification I had to make was shortening the release handle due to the narrow bed with the Ram Boxes. Other than that this hitch combined with the sidewinder I can turn the camper and truck just over 90 degrees with absolutely no clearance problems and without the need for a slider hitch. The only problem at first was the hitch was somewhat tight but as it wears that tightness is getting better. Overall a well made hitch for a good price.

Looking at the box when it arrived, I thought that I was going to have to make a trip to the hardware store to get replacement bolts. Etrailer added an outside box to protect the factory packaging, and it was all there and in great shape! Shipped on time and tracked on their site well. Very pleased.

I haven't had a chance to tow with it but this B&W hitch looks awesome. It looks extremely well built. From the paint ,the welds,and the fit and finish this hitch should last a long time. Made in the USA at its finest! Installed on my 14 Ram dually in about an hour and it hides under the tonneau cover. It's heavy so ask for help lifting it,but it's built to last!

Purchased the BWRVK3600 Fifth Wheel Hitch a couple of weeks ago. This is a great product that arrived on time as stated. Assembly Instructions were very clear and easy to follow. I took my time but the whole assembly process only took about a half hour. I installed the assembled hitch into a 2014 Dodge Ram 3500, that has the factory prep towing package. The base sat into the puck style system with no trouble. Just some minor adjustments to the latches to get them to fit snugly as per the instructions. I used it to tow my new 40 ft. tow hauler home a week ago. Hooking up was so easy it slid right into the locking jaws with ease. In fact it went so smooth that I started to skid the RV on its landing gear. This fifth wheel hitch preformed beautifully during the tow. Taking off and stopping went very smoothly with no jerking motion. Backing into the RV site and unhooking was also very easy even having to jack knife the trailer into the site in uneven ground. As soon as I released the locking lever, released the parking brake, and put the transmission in neutral, the truck just rolled ahead with ease. I am really impressed with the whole process of assembly, installation, and operation of this fifth wheel hitch. It is a little heavy, but it is built that way for a purpose, the quality of workmanship is top notch. We had this installed in our 2014 RAM 2500. We have only pulled the 5th wheel a couple of times but this hitch has worked very well. Hooking up and unhitching is very easy and straightforward. I like the colored indicator system that tells you when the hitch is locked on the pin. The head unit has rubber blocks where it is mounted to the base unit. This allows the head to rock side-to-side when you are parking the trailer on uneven ground. It also allows the trailer to rock slightly as you are pulling it and the movement of the trailer is not transmitted to the truck. However, it is kind of difficult to separate the head unit from the base because the rubber blocks fit very tightly in the pockets in the base unit. A little WD40 helps. At this point, based on our limited usage, I would definitely recommend this hitch.

I was fully expecting a hitch in excess of 100 pounds to show up in a destroyed box. This did not. They had taken the Time and effort to cover the box with an additional layer of cardboard and it must have had a million staples in it. It was almost comical, you will need a crowbar or large screwdriver to get it open. However, when I did finally get the package open I found a perfectly un scratched hitch with no missing parts. I have not pulled with the hitch yet but , it does look like it is going to perform great. I'm using this in a 2006 ram 2500 4x4 short bed pulling a 2015 forest river Salem and it allows 91 degrees of turning due to the clipped corners on the front cap of the trailer. I will be curious to see how long the rubber isolators last before needing replaced and if they are readily available. Also the curt sticker on the hitch was peeling off when I took it out of the box, would be nice to get that replaced.

Demco auto slide hitch works very well with my crew cab short bed Ram. Fits under my tonneau cover nicely. Trouble free thus far. Had to purchase a Demco plate for the camper to make the Rhino box hitch work. etrailer personnel were great in helping ensure I had the right products and kept me well informed of shipping dates.

The torque value for Ram is 75 ft lbs. The instructions are hard to figure that out cause the bolt looks like a grade 10. Which is incorrect they are grade 5. Easy install. Looks good in my truck.

The REESE RP30047, 16K double jaws locking hitch, is an excellent 5th wheel hitch. Etrailer.com is a "10" when it comes to marketing and shipping their vendor's products, Their knowledgeable follow-up, helped make my purchase a great on-line experience. It arrived when they said it would.

The product its self is good but there were no installation instructions for it so I had to find them on the net. I was a bit disappointed about that. and it says a 4 hour job, well expect a bit more time.

Received in 3 days. Good quality, easy to install. Instructions was good if you have common knowledge of what your doing. I would recommend etrailer to anyone who is looking for a hitch for their truck.

I have always had bumper pull RVs. This is my first 5th wheel and 5th wheel hitch. It took approx 5-1/2 hrs to install the rails, hitch, and 7-way extension on a '17 Dodge Ram 2500 diesel with Ramboxs. I love the construction and the "feel" of the hitch. Directions were easy to follow. I get the trailer in a couple days, so no comment on towing, but I am not anticipating any complications. Looking forward to using this hitch for years to come.

Best 5th wheel hitch ever for a RAM 3500 mega cab. No issues with the RV coming close to the back of the cab or back glass. I would recommend this hitch to anyone searching for a 5th wheel hitch for a Ram mega cab, I wish I knew about it when I first purchased my Ram mega cab, I learned the hard way, after busting out my back glass...and trying several hitches. This hitch is truly an autoslide. I have showed several short bed guys this hitch and told them the cost of the 5th wheel hitch is worth it.... It is top of the line. This will be the last 5th wheel hitch I will ever need to purchase.

I had trouble with this hitch at first. I could not get it to close and latch properly when I backed into the king pin. I worked with tech services and ended up replacing the inner pivot parts and I have really not had any issues since. Because I have to have the locking plate for my pin box, you do have to line up the truck just right for it to latch properly, but once you figure that out, it is easy. The auto slide feature works really good. I have a short bed RAM truck and I have completely turned 90 degrees with my trailer attached and it slides back with no issues to miss my cab. I highly recommend this hitch. Also the Demco Tech Services guys are great to work with.

This was the best solution for my Dodge RAM 2500 towing my Alliance 340RL 38' 5th Wheel. My son helped me install the rails under the bed and now it is very easy to remove the hitch when I am not using it. It is very strong and I highly recommend this for anyone with a short bed truck.

I purchased this hitch one year ago and it is very high quality. I tow a light 21 foot 5th wheel with my RAM 1500 Eco Diesel. I was able to adjust the hitch so that the trailer moved back several inches from the cab that provided better maneuverability compared to my other hitch. I was also able to adjust so that the trailer was perfectly level with the truck. The hitch provides a much tighter connection with the king pin which substantially reduces movement and noise. It was easy to assemble and etrailer did a great job with the entire purchase/shipping experience. Would highly recommend.

High quality, love the slider feature! We started full time RVING this year! But I bought the hitch during a sale! My only concern is that the truck manufacturers, the RV frame manufactures and the hitch manufacturers don’t coordinate. My 2024 RAM bed height plus the hitch at the lowest possible setting does not allow my 5th wheel to be level. I am slightly nose high. It is possible to get a different brand hitch or the non slider version of the BW that is slightly lower- but I’m not willing to give up the slide feature due to having a short bed truck. Overall, I’m pleased with it.

I am very pleased with this hitch, it fit into the prepped bed of my 2016, 2500 Ram perfectly. This is one heavy duty hitch, made very well. The people at B&W definitely know how to make a hitch. It is heavy (weight wise) but I use a overhead winch to lift in and out of my truck bed, works great. I wanted the best and with this hitch I got it.

The hitch is great . The only problem was shipping. When the order arrived the outer box was extremely beat-up. Upon opening, the inner box was so damaged it was not reconizable...the styrofoam was in pieces and the hitch paint was scratched-up. It was treated VERY badly in shipment...I took pictures and was going to forward to you but my phone crashed and that's when I learned my cloud back-up did not include my photos. I needed the hitch immediately for a trip, so I just installed it and chalked-it up as bad luck. With all that said, I owned Reese before but the Curt just seems more substantial

Install was easy and the hitch performs perfectly. I have ZERO complaints. Even a year later, it performs great.

This hitch has been used daily since i purchased it. I deliver fifth wheel travel trailers all over the country. This hitch has worked flawlessly from day one. This hitch is one of the only products that I've ever bought that is exactly what it was described to be. Im not one to do reviews, so the fact that im doing this one , in itself, says a lot about the quality of your product. The design and looks are much better than any other hitch ive seen. It just looks better in the truck bed than others do.

After a year, I still like my Demco autoslide. It works great. I have pulled my trailer quite a few times and have had no issues at all. I know quite a few people that pull 5th wheels and one actually went out and purchased a autoslide after watching mine work.

Have been waiting for a 5th mount for my 2014 RAM that wasn't over priced. The price point is great and the mount is much better than I thought it would be, for quality. I was able to install it in under an hour. The manual that came with it was clear and easy to follow. Delivery was fast less than a week,product work for application. Install was straight forward took 45 min or so once I figured out what the direction we're trying to explain. Have a 20015 2500 Ram with factory pucks fit was real easy. Think the direction could have been clearer with better illistration. Have 2014 Cougars high Mt. 33ft needed to set the hitch at lowest level on mount but think it will work just fine. Bought c16520_c16021 Wish I would have gotten this first I was told that I could use my old fifth wheel with pitchers frame adaptor but when I install it it made the hitch sit to high for the trailer and would not work with my old fifth wheel hitch.

I received my hitch in the 3 days promised, myself and my wife put it together in about an hour. It went in our ram with no adjustments needed. We picked up our new 5th the same day we put the new hitch in our truck, works great and was easy to install, a little heavy but putting it in legs 1st then the hitch head was the way to go as instructed.

This hitch with the Airbourne Sidewinder worked great with the 2018 Ram 2500 Mega cab short bed with Ram boxes. Can maneuver a 90 degree turn without issue. Still have to get trailer lifted higher to get the trailer nose lowered, but for the complicated research we had on the right combo, this is tested and verified

Already pulled the rv with it. I like the design. Literally ripped open the box and put it together in a matter of minutes. The three pieces come apart fast lightening it up to remove it from the bed

I have one of these in my ram and I love it. So I hope this one will be the sam when my new truck comes.
