Curt Roof Mounted Cargo Basket - 41-1/2" Long x 37" Wide x 4" Deep - 150 lbs
It's strong, sturdy, and looks good. The bolts were a little long, and protruded into the cargo area of the basket, but that's to be expected because it has to be able to fit all different size crossbars. I just cut them shorter, but some people who don't have access to our experience with tools will have to deal with those bolts sticking up.
I haven't used this yet, but I assembled it and installed it. It appears to be fairly sturdy, and the mounts don't look like they will do any major damage. One thing I am not too happy about are the nuts that clamp the "U" Bolts to the crossbars. The "U" Bolts have a great deal of very fine thread that you have to go through to get them tight. When you finally get them tight, the end of the bolt comes up above the grate that your luggage will be tied down to (at least on the 2015 Subaru Forester). Obviously this will damage whatever you plan to put there. I plan to cut them off so they don't poke through.

17x46 Curt Cargo Carrier for 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Steel - 500 lbs
Great carry all using it on my 1998 subaru forester and my 2008 cadillac dts to carry 5 gas cans to the station to be filled and I do not have to ride with them in the cars.
Bought to use on a 2016 Subaru Forester. I like the overall size. It's not as wide or wider than the Forester and I can still easily access the rear hatch. With the anti-rattle bolt, it is really stable. Now the reason for the 4 stars and not 5. I added some additional reflective tape on the side corners because at night, in a dark parking lot, it is not easy to see. But what is really annoying is the carrier is at the same height as the exhaust tip. I thought that if there was an issue with this there would be something in the reviews (which there was no mention of this being a possible issue). On a trip from southwest Ohio to Minneapolis I learned the hard way that this is a serious issue. The exhaust gasses melted a hole in the cargo bag I was using to protect gifts from the elements. Thankfully the condensation that built up in the bag kept the cardboard box the bag melted to from possibly igniting. Things were damp, but not ruined. For many vehicles, you will need an adapter to raise the carrier up and away from the exhaust. You could use a turn-down exhaust tip, but this may just make the hot gasses hit your cargo from a different angle. The second time I used with a Curt adapter with rubbermaid tubs and had no issues.

20x59 Curt Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - Folding - 500 lbs
Fast delivery! My 10 year old son wanted to help. He ended up putting it together while I supervised. 25 minutes to assemble. We will use to free up space in our 09 Forester for a road trip.
Was quite easy to assemble, instructions are decent. When in the hitch receiver it has some room so is a bit wobbly, but I remedied that with some thin plastic inserted on a couple of sides so now it doesn't wobble much at all. One other modification I made is that I made two washers out of thinner plastic and placed them on the bolt at the folding point, one on each side between the metal, so now it doesn't scratch the paint when you fold the tray and it is snug enough to where the tray will also not wobble back and forth on that bolt. Haven't put any cargo on it yet, but it holds 190lbs of my weight(in the center) rocking up and down...

19x47 Curt Cargo Carrier for 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Steel - 300 lbs
Needed a lighter weight cargo carrier appropriate for a Subaru Forester. Liked the ability to use in a 1.5 or 2 inch hitch and the threaded hitch bolt that prevents unnecessary sway. Received my order in two days and assembly was a breeze. Perfect mate to the recently purchased hitch from etrailer.com. Another happy customer.
I found the 16#tork setting on the web site, but it should be included in the directions. I plan on using it to carry a tall propane tank to the refill station. I will be using the 1-1/4" only.
What our customers are saying:
"I ordered the hitch on Monday morning and it was waiting for me when I got home at 4PM on Tuesday! My next purchase is a cargo carrier and you can bet where I'll be getting it from."
