Convert-A-Ball Ball Mount for 2" Hitches - 10-3/4" Rise, 12" Drop - 7,000 lbs
Rock Solid and so Smooth I can't give enough praise to this much needed item. I was in a rush to get this during the holidays because my previous mount was thrashed and I was going on a big trip. It shipped the same day at 4pm about an hour after I purchased it and arrived on the 5th day nicely packed and everything I ordered was there. My trip was over 200 miles with about 3,000 lbs on some rugged potholed fire-road bumpy terrain for most of it. I love the "cushion" feature... No more clankity clank - jerkity jerk from the hitch. I'm curious as to it's longevity before the cushion becomes sloppy and I plan on taking it all the way there. I also purchased the stainless interchangeable balls and say this is a must have. The 12" drop is perfect for an 8" lifted truck. This was my first experience with etrailer... And it won't be my last!
Arrived today. Fast shipping, and thank you for that! Seems to be a quality ball mount. Just what I needed to get the ball lower to tow my trailer. With this, now the top of the ball is at 16" where it needs to be. Custom built receiver on my old moving box van. Just need to weld on safety chain slots and paint it. Can't drop the lift gate with the receiver in (its pinned on both sides), but hey....I can tow now.

Convert-A-Ball Ball Mount for 2" Hitches - 3/4" Rise, 2" Drop - 10,000 lbs
this is the second cushioned ball mount I have purchased. I haul a specialty trailer daily for work, stop & go, rough terrain first ball mount I used was just a cheap hollow one witch was turning the pin hole on the truck into an oval. Bought a cushioned ball mount and it lasted 4-6years of towing 3-5days/week before one of the pins holding the cushion in finally corroded in half. I'm sure the pin could have been replaced with some work to compress the rubber again but for the price and longevity of the product I just ordered new and keep on going.
My usage of your hitch is a bit unusual, I think. I pull a two ton roller with my Ram and I've used your cushioned hitch to smooth out the process. The roller Lunette just dropped over a 2" ball and then banged and jerked on the ball neck. Check out the photos for my adaptation.. I can flip it over and use the 2" ball! Have enclosed some photos. The cushion is holding up very well and it takes a beating!! Thanks
