Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller - 7-Way RV and 4-Way Flat - 10 Gauge Wires
Product was exactly as described installation was very easy. I used this kit on my 01 Dodge Ram 4x4 because my truck did not have a trailer brake controller.
I had the product professionally installed and I love it. I tried the video assist install and it was too vague. I understand that every vehicle is different and trying to install the brake module was difficult. Also I had leftover parts that I couldn't use. This product was installed on my 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 Sport. The part that was the hardest was running the wiring through the engine firewall and finding and connecting it to the interior wiring (personally I was afraid I would fry my dash. It did save me on part costs. I don't regret using a professional to do the work, just wish I compared prices with the professional on their parts verse supplying the parts and paying just for labor. I am now using my controller to tow my 2001 Wilderness travel trailer.

Tekonsha Custom Wiring Adapter for Trailer Brake Controllers - Dual Plug In
I plugged it in, just as described on a YouTube video, and all seems perfect. There were no specific instructions in the package for my application (2013 Ram 1500). In defense however, the connectors are not interchangeable so there was really no way to connect it wrong. Plenty of extra length wire to work with. The worst part was getting under the dash!
Great customer support during the ordering and installation process. Installation was on a 2014 Ram 1500 using an existing controller.

Curt Custom Wiring Adapter for Trailer Brake Controllers - Dual Plug In
Speed up install
Sorry for the late follow-up. I just wanted to let you know that the brake controller and wiring harness I purchased through eTrailer worked very well with my 2008 Dodge Ram 2500 with the Cummins 6.7L diesel. Pictures are attached for your use, as required. The trailer was an 18-foot enclosed snow machine tailer with a steel chassis. I can't remember the empty weight, but it's substantial. We towed empty and full on dry and snow covered roads from Oklahoma to Colorado and back. Even with th exhaust brake on my truck, I can't imagine towing this load through the hills and mountains without a brake controller. It's been done before, but I would say it's an unnecessary risk given the more than reasonable prices at eTrailer...it was cheap insurance pulling such a heavy rig with my family on board. The controller was definitely not your top-of-the-line model, but the adjustability and controls were more than adequate for somebody who tows occasionally. A professional may desire more proportional controls and adjustability, but not much more. This unit peformed flawlessly. Thank you for your time. Please feel free to contct me if you would like any clarification on my statements or pictures.

Curt Custom Wiring Adapter for Trailer Brake Controllers - Dual Plug In
You wouldn't think an adapter cable to mate a CURT brake controller to a 2010 RAM, factory installed trailer brake cable would be difficult. But another online retailer and 2 (TWO!) local RV dealers sold me the wrong one..each the same; but wrong! Only etrailer got it right and at a fraction of the cost of the "others"! Works fine.
I purchased this product with a Curt time delay brake controller. My 2010 Dodge Ram has the 7 way plug and towing package on it already which made the installation of the product super easy. I looked under the dash by the parking brake and there was the plug. I plugged it in and plugged in the controller, mounted it and I was done! Installation took me less than 12 minutes and that included me checking the plug with a multi meter to ensure the power was getting thru. The best part is I can remove the controller when I am not towing my RV so that I keep my stock appearance. If you can use this part on your truck pay the little extra and get it. The shipping was super fast and easy! One of the best experiences buying online!

Curt Custom Wiring Adapter for Trailer Brake Controllers - Dual Plug In
Installed on a 2014 dodge ram 1500... The wires took literally 2 seconds to find under the dash, per etrailers instructional video, and took another to 2 seconds to clip on the pigtail. Hooked up the brake controller and powered up fine. Haven't got a chance to use it yet since the car hauler is about 400 ft back on the property and I got the truck stuck going back to try and get it. Its awdul muddy here in michigan in April. Hopefully some warm weather soon so I can get to it and try this controller out! I ordered it on Wednesday, did 2nd day shipping and called to insure I could receive it by Friday, the lady on the phone had them ship it, within ten minutes I had a confirmation email.

Universal Wiring Adapter for Curt Trailer Brake Controllers
I have the Dodge Ram Truck 94 model with factory wire 7 connector plug. This is the truck that many people can't find the blue wire under the dash. 94 model didn't come with a factory wire plug under the dash like later models have. I found the wire tape to the main wiring harness about two inches from the fire wall to the right of the emergency brake paddle. This harness worked great

Replacement Mounting Bracket Kit for Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller
Just what I needed. I had this in a different vehicle that caught fire. The P3 survived, it's bracket didn't. I was happy to find the item here and be able to order it without needing to buy another brake controller.
Seems like every time I order something from you guys, I end up writing a stellar review. Well it is what it is. You never give me a reason to write otherwise.
Best 2001 Dodge Ram Pickup Trailer Brake Controller Options
Speaker 1: Today we're going to be taking a look at the best brake controllers available for the 2001 Dodge Ram 1500, 2500, and 3500.Now all of the brake controllers that we're going to look at today are proportional controllers. It's a newer technology available and it really is just a lot better than what the time-delayed systems used to be. Basically, with the time-delayed system it was preprogrammed when your brakes would engage. You'd hit the brake in your vehicle, there might be a pause before the brakes on your trailer actually engage. With the proportional controller, we don't have to worry about that. If we hit our brakes on our truck, our brakes are going to start being applied and they're going to be applied in proportion to how we're braking in our truck.
Trailer Brake Controller Installation - 2001 Dodge Ram
Today is 2001 Dodge 1500 Ram Pickup. Were going to install Brake Control, part number 90885, Prodigy P2 Brake Controller. And also well be using part number ETBC7 for installation kit. Now, first thing were going to do is go ahead and attach our bracket to the hitch for our wire harness. Next weve part number 118140. Theres not much to work with the hitch here, so were going to put it on the end at this point.
