Most Popular Clamp-On Mirror for 1999 Nissan Frontier

The mirrors were very east to install, only took a couple of minutes. They made my visibility when pulling our trailer excellent. They didn't hold up very well. The driver side mirror blew off, ( after about 25 miles), when a semi truck from the other direction went by. The buffeting from the truck dislodged it in an instant and it was lost on the highway. I then took the passenger side mirror and installed it on the drivers side, not wanting the same thing to happen again I made sure the attachment clamps were tight, and I guess too tight as the clamp that holds it to the mirror frame broke. I will be needing to replace both of these mirrors but won't be purchasing this style again.

Delrin clamps, steel tubing, seems very sturdy. The clamps are thin so they fit between the car mirror and the housing. Love that it can fit on top or bottom of mirror housing. Haven't used it yet.

The mirrors clamp on without any damage to my side view mirrors and they give you the extra view that you’re looking for at whatever you’re towing. Good investment.
