Hopkins Smart Hitch Backup Camera and Hitch Aligner System
I had researched backup camera systems for my 2006 Dodge Ram 1500. I had gone in to one of the electronic stores to actually see what my options were. When I came to etrailer.com and saw the Hopkins Smart Hitch, I was impressed with the price and the features of the camera. I had looked at Garmin, Rand McNally, and a few others that were over twice the cost and had fewer options. I called etrailer to make sure the unit would fit in my truck, Michelle was very helpful and took my order. The unit was shipped that day and was delivered within 3 to 4 days. I had it professionally installed, though I know I could have done it myself. I am really pleased with all aspects of this camera. The audible signal (not available on some of the higher priced cameras) is really helpful - and the green, yellow, red bars give a true perspective of the proximity of obstacles. Being able to toggle between trailer hitch mode, and everyday backup mode is as easy as pushing a button. I really don't think you'll find a better camera for the price. And, etrailer's customer service is excellent.
I just installed the Hopkins Smart Hitch Backup Camera system and like it very much. I have a fishing boat & trailer, a utility trailer, and a RV camping trailer and this will make hooking up to them a breeze. My neighbor also has a fishing boat & trailer and I showed it to him. He had to get his wife and show it to her also. He said it was going on his Christmas wish list! It took me about 2 hours to install, with 90% of the time used to run the wire from the back to the windshield. I then had to adjust the camera position as it showed clearly the hitch and about 20 feet behind the truck, but I wanted it to show more distance behind the truck. I was in a parking lot last night and it did not give me as good a look behind me as i desired, so I loosened it and tilted it up a little more. It works great now. It did pick up the hitch ball with the backup sensors and sounded a constant alarm, so I loosened them and tilted them up a little also, but they do not move nearly as easily as the camera does. I had to move them rather forceably and tighten the screws before letting them go to prevent them from dropping back to their original position. The instruction sheet shows some adjustment positions for the sensors, but does not give enough information to tell you how it is suppose to be done, so I just had to guess. I probably did not do it the way they intended, but they did not say, so it works anyway. My truck is a Dodge Ram 1500 and I watched the video on your web site showing how to install it on different vehicles, and it was really helpful. I probably would not have figured out how to get the wire inside the cab without the video, but it was "spot on". My photos show the camera installation, the installation on the front windshield, the wiring connection to the factory installed wiring harness, the attachment of part of the wire, and the entry of the wire into the vehicle below the driver"s seat. As your video showed, I then ran the wire beneath the carpet to the rubber door molding, and behind the plastic to the left of the windshield and out at the top. I had planned to install it beside the rear view mirror, but I could not hide the connection so I stopped by the side and installed it at the top instead. I was initially concerned about the small size of the monitor, but it is color and shows up very adequately.

Hopkins Rear View Camera with Backup Sensors - 2-1/2" LCD
I just recently purchased and installed the hopkins camera HM60195VA and say I love it. It's an easy install for my dodge challenger and helps out beyond words when backing up. The install only took about an hour and if your not really looking you can't tell there is a camera there. The wiring was simple and plenty long enough and the monitor looks like it belongs there. I highly recommend this set up.
Works great, especially for hooking up my trailer. Was a easy install, good instructions. The only thing I needed extra was zip ties for attaching the cable to the frame. Installed it on a 2000 Ford, F-150 Harley Davidson edition.

Hopkins Backup Sensor System - Audible Alert - License Bracket Mount
Works great! I installed it on my 2014 Ram truck. Only suggestion is to add a toggle switch to turn it off so it doesn’t drive you crazy when backing a trailer! Easy addition. Important to remember to turn it back ON after so it will warn you again.
This product was perfect for my teenage daughter's vehicle. It works great and warns her of objects behind the car that she can't see otherwise. Love it!

Hopkins Trailblazer Electronic Deer Alert
Great deer whistle, I've been using one for 7 years on my Ram then sold the truck and needed another one and this one works just as well. Great product.
I rounded a curve in the road to find a deer froze in the left lane looking for where the sound was coming from. As I approved it back of the road like a scolded dog its back to me trying not to be seen. Based on that experience I think it works!
