This kit creates a dedicated, reliable connection between your outboard and its starting battery using 6-gauge wiring. An integrated accessory port lets you add Connect-Ease accessory products (sold separately) without crowding the battery posts.
This kit is designed to create a clean, reliable connection between your outboard and its starting battery, using 6-gauge marine-grade wiring sized for cranking loads. Instead of stacking terminals at the battery, the outboard connects through a dedicated starting circuit, while an integrated accessory port provides a controlled way to add Connect-Ease accessory products (sold separately) without crowding the battery posts. Built for single-battery setups, it focuses on starting reliability first, with expansion handled through compatible accessory connectors as needed. The marine-grade components are designed to hold up in environments where vibration, moisture, and corrosion are part of normal use.
This outboard connection kit is designed to work with the following Connect-Ease connectors and accessory products:

Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this Connect-Ease Start 12 Outboard Motor Connection Kit with Accessory Port. Now, if you're looking for an easier, cleaner way to wire your boat's electrical system, this is gonna be, basically, a great plug-and-play solution for you to consider for a 12-volt outboard motor and accessories. So instead of running a bunch of separate wires directly to your battery, this kit is going to let you connect everything through quick-disconnect terminals. That means that your outboard motor, starting battery and common accessories like fish finders, downriggers, sonar, or power panels, can all be connected in a much more organized way.
So one of the big advantages of this kit is convenience. The quick-connect disconnect, or quick-disconnect, rather, setup is gonna make it very easy to remove the battery for charging or storage. So as you can see here, this smaller cable here, this is going to wire to your battery terminals there. And then the quick-connection points here, they're just going to plug in just like that. And so that's how easy this is going to be to connect your battery to this wiring harness.
And then when you're ready to disconnect, just give it a firm pull, and then you're gonna be able to disconnect just that easily. So this is gonna be great if you're doing maintenance or even, it's a good idea to help deter theft. You're not gonna be fighting stiff cables or worrying about loose connections every time that you need to disconnect something. So these connectors are gonna hold very firmly and secure for you. This kit is built for real marine use.
It uses heavy-gauge wiring for reliable power delivery. It includes clearly marked positive and negative terminals, as you can see here. And it does come with protective rubber terminal covers to help prevent corrosion and accidental shorts. So you're gonna get everything that you see here on my table. If you happen to have any other questions, whether it's about this kit or anything else that we have here at etrailer, don't hesitate to reach out.
We wanna make sure that you're getting exactly what you need. Well, again, my name's Andy. Thank you for joining me.
