Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this Anderson black aluminum Rapid Hitch with greaseless Alumiball two-ball mount for your 2 1/2-inch trailer hitch receiver. Now, this lightweight, yet tough, aluminum adjustable ball mount is designed for light-duty and heavy-duty towing applications. And this greaseless Alumiball is going to keep things smooth and mess-free. This is made to stay smooth and easy to use, so you're gonna spend less time cleaning and more time towing. Now, this is made for your 2 1/2-inch trailer hitch receiver.

And this mount is again built for towing heavy loads, lighter loads. It's gonna be very flexible in that way. And since this is aluminum, this is gonna be great for your boat trailers or trailers around water, but also great for campers and other heavy-duty trailers. So this does come with two ball sizes. You're gonna get your two-inch and your 2 5/16-inch ball.

And you're gonna be able to easily switch between trailers that require different ball sizes. And the gross towing weight with the 2 5/16-inch ball is gonna be 12,500 pounds. With the two-inch ball, 10,000 pounds. And this is gonna give you a maximum tongue weight of 1,500 pounds. So this mount is adjustable, allowing you to raise or lower the ball mount to match the height of your trailer.

This is gonna be especially useful if you tow different types of trailers with varying coupler heights. So you'll be able to tow trailers of different heights all with the same vehicle. So as you can see, once I remove the pin and clip, this ball platform is going to be able to go up and down this shank very easily. You're not gonna be struggling with this. I'm gonna go ahead and flip this over to the two-inch ball.

I wanted to show you inside of that platform, there is a pin there that secures the ball platform or the combo ball, rather, into the ball platform. So I'm just switching that over to the two-inch ball. That's how easy this is going to be to swap and adjust the height. And then let me see if I can line the pin holes up here without looking. There we go. And then I'm just going to replace the clip. So I really like that, sometimes, there's other ball mounts that I've tested where it can be very difficult just to get the clip back into the pin. So as you can see, everything moves and operates pretty smoothly. So you're gonna be able to get the height adjustment and the ball size that you need in just a matter of seconds. Now, this is going to give you a maximum drop or rise, if you flip this over, right at six inches with a incremental height adjustment of one inch. And this is constructed of high-quality aluminum. So obviously, being aluminum, it's going to resist rust and corrosion. But yet, it's gonna be strong and lightweight. And this does feature a black anodized finish on it. It looks great, but I'll be honest with you, I'm not too sure how well the finish is gonna hold up. Just with our testing here, you can see that where this was tested with the pin and clip, you can see that there's been a little bit of wear there. So anyway, I just wanted to make you aware of that, that it might be, the finish might kinda wear off over time, depending on how you use this. Right, even just with the few times that we've used the pin and clip here to adjust the height, there's a little bit of scratching there. So it does look great, but as to the longevity of the finish, I'm not real sure. But this is just from using it just a few times to test it out. That's the kind of wear we're getting from it. Let me give you some measurements that might prove helpful for you. Measuring from the center of our first hitch pin hole to the center of the ball, we're pretty close to about eight inches. Moving over to the second hitch pin hole, about 9 5/8 inches. But this is going to be a great option to consider, again, if you're towing trailers, multiple trailers of different heights, all with the same vehicle. It's really gonna be maintenance-free, especially because of the greaseless Alumiball that this comes with. And being that it's aluminum, it is going to be lightweight, but it's also going to be very durable and very strong. And the material itself is gonna be very long-lasting.
