- Can I Mount the Thule Hullavator TH898 to the Thule WingBar Evo Crossbars?The Thule Hullavator Pro Kayak Carrier item # TH898 will work with the Thule WingBar Evo Crossbars like item # TH711320. These are just an updated version of the Thule AeroBlade Crossbars. The Hullavator can be attached to the WingBar in one of two ways, with wrap-around clamps or with a t-bolt. If you are using the t-bolt you don't need to cut any of the rubber inside the channel on the WingBar. The rubber is split so you just slide the t-bolt into place and tighten. When you remove the rubber inside the channel of the Thule WingBar Evo Crossbars item # TH711320 there are square nuts inside. You will adjust these square nuts and the rubber channel however you need to install the Thule Hullavator item # TH898. You won't need the Replacement M6 x 37 mm Screw item # TH97FQ as the Hullavator comes with all necessary parts.
