Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this MAXTRAX 11 millimeter wide by 10 meters long Static Recovery Rope. Has an 8,083 pound vehicle recovery capacity. Now this is a high-strength HMPE rope. HMPE stands for high modulus polyethylene.

This will extend the length of your recovery system ropes, so it is perfect for use with cars, trucks, jeeps, and buggies. And the HMPE rope has an extremely low density and a strength-to-weight ratio that is eight times higher than high-strength steel. Also, this rope will float whereas the steel wire sinks. Now, this can also be used as a tree trunk protector, a load-sharing bridle, or as an extension to your winch cable. The built-in loops you can see on each end of the ropes lets you attach the shackles or D-rings on the vehicle.

And they do use a nice polyethylene and polyester coating to protect the attachment points from scratches. And if you notice these covers they have on the ends here, they're a bright orange color, and that's for high visibility. As we mentioned, the dimensions on this rope, the width of it is 11 millimeters, which translates to 7/16 of an inch. The length 10 meters, which translates to 32 feet 9 inches long. Does have a maximum load or break strength of 24,250 pounds, and the vehicle recover capacity is a third of that, which is 8,083 pounds.
