Video Transcript for An In-Depth Look at the Replacement Hawse Fairlead for Seal Gen2 and DV Winches

Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, I'm gonna take a look at this replacement Hawse Fairlead for the ComeUp Seal Gen2 and DV Winches. Now this part will replace the Hawse Fairlead on the ComeUp Seal Gen2 or the DV off-road winch. It's designed to fit the Seal Gen2 9,500 pound and 12,500 pound winches. And it will also the DV light series, 9,000 pound and 12,000 pound winches.

Now this is an aluminum construction. You can see it has a nice gloss black anodized finish to resist corrosion. Has the rounded fairlead hole here, it helps prevent friction and damage to your synthetic rope. In other words, they round off the edges here so there's no sharp edges. So if your rope rope goes out to the side, it won't get destroyed are either the top or bottom.

It is a large throat radius. It'll limit the stress on your synthetic rope. The throat size, it's going to be right at 7 1/4 inches, by 1 inch. And it does come with the stainless steel mounting hardware. And the mounting hole dimension if we measure from the center of this hole to the center of this hole is gonna be 10 inches.

Now, one note I do wanna mention, this Hawse Fairlead does not mount directly to the winch. It'll typically attach to the tabs on the winch mounting plate that either comes with the winch or we do sell those separately. And most of those aftermarket mounts will include the tabs for this to attach to. But that should do it for the review on the replacement Hawse Fairlead for the ComeUp Seal Gen2 and DV Winches..
