GSP offers 4 types of CV axles based on your vehicle and riding habits. The OE+ model is an affordable OEM replacement with neoprene boots. The Heavy Duty (HD) axle has a stronger shaft and TPEE boots that are better than OEM axles. The Xtreem Duty (XD) is 30% stronger than OEM axles and includes a thicker shaft for riding hard and racing. The XD is often used on lifted vehicles. The Xtended axle is a specialty product for those with long travel suspensions. It includes the same quality features of the HD axle but is longer to accomodate different builds.

Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this GSP Custom Fit Heavy Duty CV Front Left Axle Assembly. Now this is going to let you upgrade your vehicle's front left OEM setup on your 2011 to 2020 Can-AM Commander 800 and 1,000. And on custom fit parts such as this axle, I do recommend taking advantage of our vehicle fit guide. Just input the year, make and model of your vehicle and our fit guide will confirm if this will work for you or if we have something comparable that will work for you.
I also wanna point out that this is not intended for use on lifted vehicles and I also wanted to show you what this is a direct replacement for. So on your screen you see that information there. And if you need to refer back to this information, you can find this on this product page. Now the hardened steel alloy shaft is built to resist wear. The material is 40Cr(XC).
These oversized CV joints are gonna let you climb rough terrain and crawl over obstacles. The flexible TPEE boots are gonna resist tearing and cracking and this is going to arrive just as you see it. This is gonna be preassembled for a pretty simple installation. This has already been packed with high performance moly grease to reduce friction. And as you probably already saw right here, the axle nut is included.
The axle assembly length, when extended, it's gonna be 27.2 inches, compressed, 25.59 inches. The inboard joint type is a double offset joint and the number of splines here is 21. And then the outboard ball type, joint type rather, is ball and the number of splines is 26. And additional specs are listed on this product page.
