GSP offers 4 types of CV axles based on your vehicle and riding habits. The OE+ model is an affordable OEM replacement with neoprene boots. The Heavy Duty (HD) axle has a stronger shaft and TPEE boots that are better than OEM axles. The Xtreem Duty (XD) is 30% stronger than OEM axles and includes a thicker shaft for riding hard and racing. The XD is often used on lifted vehicles. The Xtended axle is a specialty product for those with long travel suspensions. It includes the same quality features of the HD axle but is longer to accomodate different builds.

Hello neighbors, Steven here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look together at our GSP Heavy Duty CD Axle Assembly made for the rear, and it's a custom fit application, folks, I want you to double check the fit guide here at etrailer.com. Make sure it fits your specific year, make, and model of Arctic Cat. In this case, it looks like it's an Arctic Cat that it's gonna fit different sizes and years, so double check that to make sure you're getting the right parts the first time. Now getting into it, folks, this is a nice upgrade from your stock axle. You can enjoy your ride with this heavy duty CV axle.
It's made of a hardened steel alloy, specifically a 40 XC steel, and it is built to resist wear and tear. It fits either the left or right rear position axles, and it's an oversized CV joint here that lets you climb through rough terrain and also crawl over obstacles. It's all flexible. These tough TPEE boots on both sides, they're gonna resist tearing and cracking. They've been pre-packed with a high performance moly grease.
The whole thing is preassembled. You get the castle nut and the washer included here. That way you can just simply pop out the old one and put the new one in. Overall, extended, it's 23.05 inches long, and if you pushed it together, retracted everything, it would be 21.63 inches long. Now the inboard uses what's called a double offset joint and there's 27 splines on that count, and the outboard uses a basic ball joint type with 27 splines as well.
Now the diameter of the shaft is exactly 23 millimeters, and they give you a nice one year warranty from the manufacturer. Well, folks, that's gonna wrap it up. Thanks for taking a look with me today at this heavy duty rear CV axle assembly. I'm Steven, thanks for watching.
Easy install and working great!
Product is fine. It took too long for s hipping.
CV Joint for Kawasaki Teryx.
I like the CV joint. It is better than the original. My order was easy due to skilled staff. Plus the shipping was on time. The price was also very reasonable. I would not hesitate to recommend. I will be back, thank you Gynger, job well done!.
The product was what I ordered. Thanks.
However, I was disappointed that it took longer to get it than I originally thought it would when I placed my order. That said, I was able to communicate my concerns and the order was delivered. This noted, I will likely order again when I need another part.
I’m not sure how useful an evaluation is at this point because these new heavy duty axles should last through years of use and they were only installed today. They look good now but time will tell. Installation was pretty much like the you tube videos showed although removal of the old axles and pushing in the new ones was physically more difficult than I expected and beyond what the tutorials showed.
