Video Transcript for Review of Pullrite 5th Wheel Hitch - Fabex Capture Plate - PUL66RR

Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this Pullrite Superglide Quick Connect Capture Plate for the 12 inch wide king pin boxes. Now you'll use this capture plate to keep your trailer's king pin from rotating in your Pullrite Superglide hitch. Basically, this will allow you to tow your fifth wheel using that Pullrite Superglide hitch. This part here attaches to the skid plate on your trailer's pin box, keeps the king pin from rotating in the hitch head and it'll allow movement of the trailer to be transferred to your hitch so they can automatically glide to provide the clearance you need for 90 degree turns.

Now this plate here is designed to work with the Fabex pin boxes. The skid plate on the pin box must measure 12 inches wide. Now if you notice this little part here, it's an adjustable nylon block, and this is designed to prevent marring of your trailer's king pin box and is serves as a tensioning device. So when you put this up on the skid plate of your pin box, you put this behind the screw right here. So when you tighten your jam nut, that'll help from marring it and also a tensioning device.

Now this part does resist corrosion it has a durable black powder coat finish to it and just to show you the underside of it if we flip it over, there's your underside.
