Question:

Im looking for an LED replacement bulb. BUT- its odd the current bulb has a 1156 base, however it has TWO contacts on the base... odd I know. Not sure what the female side looks like. But the bulb side has the two two lugs at the same position, unlike the 1157 where they are off-set. The 1157 has the double contact points. But this bulb is for a reading light. Simple click on click off.... HELP!! PS- sorry no pictures. Im back at my home and away from the unit. I didnt realize this would be so challenging

It sounds like you are describing the 1004/1076 LED Bulb - Double Contact Bayonet - 360 Degree - 210 Lumens - Warm White - Qty 2 # DI45VR.

I attached a picture of the base of the bulb for you to take a look at. Please tell me if this is the right bulb? If it is not, please describe to me what is different about it (or if you have the picture now, please send it by responding directly to the email), and please include what application this is for.

Hey David, Did you have a chance to check if the bulb I suggested matches what you need for your reading light? I'm eager to know if it worked out for you so I can better assist others with similar questions.

@KateF Hello- sadly the unit is in NC and I'm currently in MD. I believe the base you shared with me would work, as long as the side pins are the same. Since this is being used for reading lights, I need the LED's to be set up more as a "spot" light. The bulb goes into a reflector type housing helps focus the light more straight and NOT flooding the area. So- we're still no there. Think "spotlight" Thanks, David

@David thanks for responding David. The 1076/1004 LED Light Bulb - Double Contact Bayonet - 360 Degree - 320 Lumens - Cool White - Qty 2 # DI97ZR might be a more suitable option for you. That one, and the # DI67VR would be our only options for that kind of base.
