Hey Dave. The Curt Double Lock, Flip and Store Underbed Gooseneck Hitch w/ Installation Kit item # C60721 is going to be our only Curt option for your 2014 Ford F-150. It fits both 6-1/2' and 8' bed lengths and installs with custom fit brackets. The gooseneck ball can be flipped upside down and stored inside the gooseneck receiver.
To install the Curt item # C60721 you'll drill a single 4" hole 35" back from the cab of your truck and four 1/2" safety chain holes. There's no margin for error. You'll need to use the center section of the gooseneck hitch to mark below where you need to drill. I have linked the installation instructions below, along with a video we made, so you can see what's necessary.
If you need to find a local installer, you can go to the product page of the Curt item # C60721 and scroll down below the pics on the left side you'll see a box that says, SCHEDULE AN INSTALLATION. Go ahead and click on it and it will take you to a page where you'll be able to enter your zip code. Once you do this you'll be connected to our network of reputable installers in your area.
To make towing with a gooseneck trailer easier, I recommend adding the Curt 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Custom Wiring Harness item # C56070. This harness puts a 7-way connector in the bed of your truck and allows you to keep the one on your bumper. This makes hooking up to your trailer easier and more convenient.
What kind of trailer are you pulling?
