Will The NOCO Genius10 Be Able to Charge My 730 CCA Battery In My Toyota Tacoma?
Question:
I am quite confused! The Genius10 specs indicate it for batteries up to 230CCA my Tacoma has a 730CCA battery. WIll this charger not be too small for my trucks battery will it burn up? NOCO site suggests this charger for, say, motorcycle batteries. We had a flood here on August 8-9, and my Mobil Charger got ruined. Battery went down on truck mostly from my not driving it enough I had to jump-start it so Im in market for a replacement. Thanks!

Hello George,
I am sorry to hear that a flood ruined your charger. Disasters out our control can be very frustrating and pretty sad. A charger can be replaced, I hope you did not lose anything that cannot be replaced.
The NOCO Genius Smart Battery Charger - AC to DC - 6V/12V - 10 Amp # 329-GENIUS10 will be a great charger for your 730 CCA battery. For a typical 730 CCA truck battery, the Ah rating is usually around 50-75Ah and the # 329-GENIUS10 can charge 12V batteries up to about 230Ah, so your battery is well within range. If your battery were completely dead it would take about 8 hours to charge.
I hope you don't have too many other things to replace. If you have any other questions, you know where to find me.
May 2025 be full of many Awesome Adventures (dry ones I hope)! From, Your friends here at etrailer!
