Hey Patrick! There are two options to add wiring to your 2019 Ford Edge depending on what model you have and both are custom fit. I have listed them below:

Titanium and ST - Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness item # C73FR

SEL or SE - Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness item # C89FR

These custom-fit T-connectors plug into your Edge's wiring harness, which is located behind the tail lights. I have linked a couple of installation videos below to show you how to get them set up.

The etrailer Hitch item # e34AR you were looking at has been confirmed to fit all models of the 2019 Ford Edge. This is a class III hitch with a 2" receiver.

To round out your towing setup, I recommend the Curt Towing Starter Kit for 2" Hitches item # C45534. This towing kit will provide you with a 2" ball and a fixed ball mount with a 3/4" rise and 2" drop. It also includes a hitch pin and clip, hitch receiver lock with keys, hitch cover, and a storage case.

I have another question about pulling a small utility trailer with our 2020 Ford Edge sel. Do we need to have factory tow package? On line answer was yes

@PatP No, you don't need to have the factory tow package to tow a trailer. Once you get set up with a hitch, wiring harness, and ball mount your main concern will be staying under your Edge's towing capacity, which is 3,500 lbs.
