Question:
I have a 2021 Toyota 4runner Sr5 4WD. I want to pull an airstream basecamp 20X . My 4runner is rated 5000lbs tow capacity and 500 lbs tongue weight. The basecamp 20x is just under 4000 lbs weight but recommend a vehicle with tongue weight of 535 lbs. Question: Is there a hitch setup that allows me to tow the basecamp 20x with my 4runner even though the recommended tongue weight for the basecamp is greater than what is listed in the 4runners specs for towing?

Hey John, yes there is. But just so you know a WDH won't actually reduce the tongue weight so if the camper vendor says the vehicle needs 535lb tongue weight rating, and Toyota only says it can be up to 500lbs, then that is a question you'd need to check with the camper manufacturer to see if it'd alright to use it.
If all is fine, then I'd recommend going with the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System w/ 4-Point Sway Control # EQ37060ET. This WDS has a tongue weight rating range of 200 lbs to 600 lbs, a gross towing capacity of 6,000 lbs, built in 4 point sway control, and includes the head assembly, adjustable shank, spring bars, sway control brackets, lift handle, hitch ball, pin and clip, and all necessary hardware.

Thanks Bryce I live in Delray Beach Florida. Is there anyone you work with here that can do the installation? So you have any idea of what the cost would be to purchase and install? Thanks again for your reply?
