Installation of Replacement Endcap for Thule AeroBlade Edge Roof Rack

Question:
Whats the secret to properly installing the TH1500052333s and locking them on? Almost every time I try, the lock doesnt go in far enough and it ends up pushing the end cap off the tower when attempting to rotate to locking position. Ive spend multiple sessions trying and for some unknown reason the angle is right sometimes, and the lock turns fine. I currently have two locks in place after 60+ minutes of fiddling with the other two, I end up taping them to the towers so they wont blow off. I still lost a cover!

Hi Mike; I'm sorry these are giving you so much trouble but I don't have any secret installation method for the # TH1500052333 on your roof rack. The best I can say is to make sure you get it aligned properly as you push them on. Since the angle is right sometimes when you do this I would try to make sure you replicate it for the others. I went ahead and attached an installation video below for you to check out. You can see where the endcaps were installed starting at 4:30 in the video.
