Question:

I have a 2023 Tundra SR5 CrewMax, short bed, with factory rails/tracks. I see this toolbox is a confirmed fitinch for previous years of Tundras but it says not confirmed for the 2023...wondering if the site just hasnt been updated, or if the box actually wont fit my truck. I have a kayak rack on the truck which prevents me from using a lot of other tool boxes, so was thinking this one would be a good option. Thank you!

Hello Jim. The TruXedo TonneauMate Truck Bed Toolbox # TX1117416-59 is only a fit for the 2010 - 2021 short bed Tundra. So, this will not be a fit for your truck. We do have some great toolbox options for the 2023 Toyota Tundra Short bed, but nothing that will be Tonneau compatible like the TonneauMate Toolbox.

I would have to recommend a side mount style box for the short bed Tundra. Something like the UWS Truck Tool Box # UWS78YR. This is a 48-3/4" long x 14-3/8" wide x 11-3/4" tall gloss black Aluminum toolbox. You will just want to make sure you get something that fits between the uprights for your ladder rack. These are available in different sizes and finishes if you prefer something different.
