After Installing Curt Trailer Wiring Harness Right Turn Signal Does Not Work on 2014 Jeep Cherokee

Question:
I have the Curt Custom Fit Vehicle Wiring for the Jeep Cherokee, 2014 Curt Custom Fit Vehicle Wiring Code: C56208 I installed everything just like the directions showed. I have one big issue, my right blinker in the back will not work. Once I connect the harness the right blinker will not work. As soon as I connect the vech harness back the blinker is fine. Do you have any idea why this is happening? Did I get a defective wiring harness? Please let me know as soon as you can. I would like to use my boat trailer but I can not until this is resolved.

It does sound like there is a potential problem with the Curt wiring harness # C56208. First, make sure that the connector with the green wire is plugged in on the passenger side and the yellow wire connector is on the driver side.
Also make sure that the white ground wire is attached to a clean and corrosion free bare metal surface. You can try moving the ground to a different location as well.
Inspect the pins in the harnesses connectors for the passenger side. You are looking for bent or loose pins. If all the pins are present then there could be a loose internal wire or something is wrong with the converter box in general and it will need to be replaced.
