How to Easily Install Handrail for Second Generation 4-Step MORryde Steps

Question:
Is there any kind of quick release for this handrail? That just seems like a pain to make sure I have space cleared out since this will be bolted straight to the stairs.

The Handrail for Second Generation 4-Step MORryde Steps # MR73AR by itself bolts to the side of the steps, but if you install the Handrail Pocket Kit # MR82JR it's kind of like a quick release system. Instead of permanently bolting the handrail to your steps you just slip the handrail into this bracket kit to secure it in place, and then remove the handrail when you are done using it.

Hi Jon, I have a friend who has a second gen MoRryde 3step that she would like the handrail installed. She has the railing and the bolt pattern lines up to the rivnuts on the left side of the step rail, but there is a plastic sleeve riveted to each leg of the railing covering the holes. Im assuming this is a a rail for the quick removal style and needs Handrail Pocket Kit # MR82JR you mentioned above. Where is this pocket kit available and/or can the plastic sleeves be removed by drilling out the rivet and the rail bolted directly? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks! Nick K.
