That would completely depend on specific set of chains you are looking at. Some chains that fit a 275/70-17, will also fit a 275/70-18, but I think it is safe to say that most will not. We can usually pull up a list of approved sizes for each set of chains as needed. Generally we would just get your tire size and recommend chains based off of that.

If you are needing chains for your 275/70-18 tires, I recommend the Titan Chain Tire Chains # TC2533. These are the self tensioning drape-over chains. They will be much easier to install than your standard ladder style chains. So you get great traction, and you will spend minimal time messing with them on the side of the road.
