What is Difference Between House Fridge and RV Fridge

Question:

I have 2022 flagstaff fifth wheel camper. Our first frig frosted up all the time. Would never defrost itself. They replaced that frig. Now our 2nd frig is freezing everything in the top shelf. The setting is on 2. I defrosted it also and ice hang from the upper vent or water drips. It is a magic chef rv frig. Same model as above. Why the same problem. thanks Jack, They also told me that a rv frig is not the same as a home frig. I dont understand that one either,

The Everchill fridge part # 324-000119 is the same as the Magic Chef RV fridge you have. It's hard to say why you've had bad luck with the ones you've tried already but in general these have been pretty solid for our customers. The difference between an RV fridge and a house fridge is that an RV fridge is designed to be powered with 12 volts (like what a car battery puts out) and also was made to withstand bumps since it will be travelling on the highway.
