You can install AC units on pop ups like what you have. For that a kit like the Advent Air part # ACM135C would be a great option. It comes with a 13.5k BTU unit, a manual air distribution box, and a capacitor to make it easier on power consumption. This requires the roof to be between 2-1/2 inch to 5 inch thick so you might need to make like a brace or space with wood to create that thickness. The opening size required for the roof is 14-1/4 inch by 14-1/4 inch.
