How to Find the Speed Rating of a Trailer Tire

Question:
Please, I have trailer for my kayak I bought rims and tire 4.80-8 load B. Can I drive the trailer with the tire 60 or 65 mph?

That all depends on what the trailer tire manufacturer has tested and rated the tires for. You can either look for a speed rating stamp on the sidewall of the tire (it should be by itself in a little indention) or you can reach out to the tire manufacturer for that spec.
For example, our Kenda 4.80/4.00-8 Bias Trailer Tire with 8" White Wheel # AM30000 has a speed rating of "K" which is 65 mph.
If you aren't able to find this information anywhere then 60 mph is a good starting to to stay at just to be on the safe side of things.
