Question:

Hello! I have a 2024 GMC Sierra 3500 and I am looking to get a heavy duty air bag kit. I will be getting a large truck bed camper and I want the 7,500 lb capacity bags. I have been looking at the Firestone 2709 and I see you also have an airlift equivalent AL57541. Which one is better and is there anything else I will need?

I can definitely help and point you in the right direction. Both brands make a great quality air bag kit. Personally I prefer the Firestone Ride-Rite # F2709. The air bags themselves are known to be more durable than others. They can hold more PSI (150) than other brands as well.

You will also want to go with a heavy duty onboard compressor. I recommend the Firestone Air Command # F2219. A dual path compressor will allow each bag to be filled independently, which will be ideal for a truck bed camper.
