Where is the Best Place to Mount an Air Lite Air Compressor on a 2012 GMC Sierra 2500
Question:
Where should I mount the compressor on my 2012 GMC 2500 with Duramax engine? Space is limed under the hood. Would like your input.

There should be some space somewhere on the truck frame rails or back of the rocker panels like in the picture I have included. Basically any where that you can find the space and it is not a chore to complete the installation is likely going to work. Avoid placing it too near items that generate heat like exhaust components. Otherwise there really is no one right place to install the compressor.
Air Lift recommends to install the compressor in a dry area protected from the elements, avoid high heat areas, avoid mounting it under the hood, and to mount it in a location harness will reach the compressor and the other harness it connects to.
