I need door handles for a 1987 Trail-et horse trailer. Any ideas?

For a replacement handle you will need to either match the current cutout or alter the cutout so a new latch fits. For example, the Bauer Products Camper Door Lock # BA65FR you looked at requires a 5-1/4" wide x 4-1/2" tall cutout and fits doors that are 1-1/4" to 1-1/2" thick.
If that matches what you have this would be a good replacement. It also has a keyed alike option which is great since it sounds like you're replacing multiple handles. If you are unable to find an exact match, look for one that is larger since it would be much easier to enlarge the existing cutout then try to fill it in somehow.
