Camera System to Fit Pre-Wired 2018 Forest River Trailer
Question:
I have a 2018 forest River Evo camp trailer that is prewired for a backup camera. I have a f350 with an in dash screen. I had a camera on my old camper that plugged into the accessory camera on my truck. Is there a way to connect these pieces all together to avoid a secondary monitor?

Your 2018 Forest River trailer is pre-wired for a Furrion Vision S camera setup like the kit # FOS05TASF that comes with a 5" window mount monitor.
This is a wireless setup that doesn't have provisions for connecting to a truck dash screen, but we do have some alternative hardwired options that might work if you can give me some more details on how you connected your old camper camera to your truck.
I personally like the idea of having a dedicated monitor for the backup camera so I like to recommend the Furrion system instead of one that ties into a dash screen. I know it adds some more "clutter" but it also means you don't have to navigate through anything to see that camera while you're driving.
