How To Measure Trailer Spindle On a 2006 Forest River Flagstaff Popup Camper
Published 03/24/2023 >
Question:
I need to replace my bearings on my trailer, I went to repack the bearings and learned the seal was bad, I now want to buy new and one spare kit to have on hand if a bearing fails I can replace whole unit and it is packed and ready to be installed. I took both hubs off to measure to get the right parts, I would guess a standard 1 for a 2006 Flagstaff Forest River 8 by 8 popup. What do you need me to measure?

You will need to either find the numbers stamped on your bearings or measure the spindle with a Digital Caliper # PTW80157. I have added an image below showing you where to measure on the spindle and where the numbers are on the bearings. If you also want a replacement hub you will find your lug bolt pattern stamped into the hub. Let me know what measurements you find on your spindle and I can help you find the correct replacement parts. Any images are also helpful.
