Should The Mobile Home Axles On a Trailer Be Replaced Or Can They Be Upgraded?
Question:
I have a 1970s 3 axle trailer that was built with mobile home axles. I want to convert it to std hubs with elec brakes.. I have pictures and dimestions of the axle I can send. Can I convert orshould I just replace the axles?

It will be best to replace your mobile home axles with a new axle like the Axle # e35SR. The mobile home axles were never designed for long term use and the hub components are nearly impossible to locate. Going to a standard axle will help you in the future when things need replaced.
