Question:
Should I attach the Kats 1190 heater to my oil pan or my transmission pan on a 2003 tahoe? Which placement would be best in below 0 degress F. and below temps? Im in Montana and I use it in negative temps.

The Kat's Heaters Handi-Heat Magnum Magnetic Heater part # KH1190 can be used on either an engine oil pan or transmission fluid pan. If needed, you could even use one on both pans to prepare the vehicle better for colder weather. That said, if you were to only do one I recommend the engine oil pan over the transmission fluid pan as it's a bit more critical of a component.
