Question:

Hello, Have a Mazda CX-5, 2023. Do you confirm that the trailer hitches shown for the 2022 models will still worK? Do you work with some installers in the Houston area? For a bike rack which would you recommend? Thanks!

According to my research the only difference between a 2022 Mazda CX-5 and a 2023 Mazda CX-5 is that they offered an additional paint job for the new model year, meaning anything that is confirmed to fit a 2022 should fit a 2023 without any issues.

So for your application I recommend the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98902 because it features a hidden crosstube with the durable matte black finish. The matte black finish does a better job at blending in with your vehicle trim and offers better protection than the classic glossy black finish we see on the other hitches. We don't have specific installers we recommend but you can use our "Locate installers near me" link on the product page to see what shops we work with that are willing to install a hitch. If none are in your area we recommend finding someone with a good reputation.

As for a bike rack I recommend checking out the Kuat Transfer V2 # KU84FR because it's a platform rack that secures bikes by the front wheel. Since this has a weight capacity of 60 lbs per bike and can accommodate up to 3" wide tires (4.5" with the Adapter Kit # APBK) it will work with a wide range of bike styles. If you have bikes with front fenders let me know what bikes they are and I can make a different recommendation based off of that!
