Is There a Specific Remote for the Furrion Pure Sine Wave Inverter
Question:
The description for the inverter mentions a remote control. I assume this is connected to a port on the device. Does etrailer.com carry this remote?

The Furrion Pure Sine Wave Inverter # FIVBDP10A does have a port for a remote, but there is not a specific remote for the Furrion Pure Sine Wave Inverter. I contacted the manufacturer about the remote. They informed me that there is not a specific remote. The Furrion inverter accepts a fixed-mount remote using a phone jack connector.

Do you know of a remote switch that will work with this inverter? Does it have to be a latching type switch or momentary type switch? Also, do you know of a wiring diagram for this inverter? The included instructions are very simplistic. I’m curious how the automatic switching works with when using the bypass input cord. Seems like it would just sense the output of the inverter as an energized ac distribution panel whether shore power was connected or not. In essence, the inverter would never automatically shut off automatically when using shore power. I’d have to manually shut off the inverter.
