Recommended Replacement AC Unit for Carrier 68RV14102A

Question:

I have a carrier remote rv ac and heater combo that I need a direct replacement the model # is 68rv14102a. It is also ducted. I don’t really need the heat just a/c. What are my options?

The Carrier 68RV14102A is no longer available but we have the 15,000 Btu Advent Air Replacement RV Air Conditioner for a Carrier Setup, # ACCAR150 that will allow you to replace this directly since it comes with the adapters needed to fit a Carrier setup. This unit also comes with a start capacitor to allow you to start the unit when there isn't enough power provided by the campsite power pedestal or generator. The included adapter wiring kit ensures that the AC works seamlessly with your existing, in-good-working-order Carrier air distribution box and thermostat.

Hi Michael, So I have the 68RV14102A Carrier A/C but the control box is also having an issue. If I want to replace the roof unit but I also need a new A/C control box, what do I do? Do you sell a control box that’s compatible to the old carrier control box as well?

@Keith You would need to replace your entire system at this point. If you're having problems with the control box there's no point in trying to match it up with a replacement AC unit. Do you prefer a wall thermostat, or a distribution box with manual controls on the ceiling? We have options for both that I have listed below: - Advent Air RV Air Conditioner System - Single Zone - 15,000 Btu - White - R32 item # ADV92SR - Advent Air RV Air Conditioner System - Manual - 15,000 Btu - White - R32 item # ADV32SR These are both full 15,000 Btu AC systems that come with the rooftop unit, controller, and distribution box. Everything you need to replace and upgrade your Carrier 68RV14102A AC system. These systems will be compatible with both ducted and ductless setups and have the new R32 refrigerant, which is more efficient. Please note these systems also come with a start capacitor that stores up wattage to make it easier on your electrical system during start up.
