If your remote control thermostat is bad on our carrier unit can it be replaced?

You can replace your Carrier AC if your thermostat is bad, but you would need an all-new unit (including the thermostat) instead of the Advent Air Replacement RV Air Conditioner for Carrier Setup # ACCAR150. The reason for that is this unit includes a wiring adapter that plugs into a Carrier set up that is in working order, so it wouldn't function without the wiring working properly.
So what you can use instead is a unit from Advent that comes with everything you need, including a thermostat; it is also available in either White or Black:
- White: Advent Air RV Air Conditioner w/ Air Distribution Box and Wall Thermostat - 15,000 Btu # ADV64FR
- Black: Advent Air RV Air Conditioner w/ Air Distribution Box and Wall Thermostat - 15,000 Btu # ADV74FR
These units are compatible with ducted or ductless systems and give you a strong 500 cubic feet per minute of air flow. I have added a link below to a video review for you to check out as well if you'd like to take a look.
