Furrion Chill Replacement RV Air Conditioner for Coleman Setup # FR42PV comes with a wiring harness adapter so that you can plug into your current RV air conditioning system without having to completely replace it.

It has a BTU rating of 15,000 which is above that of Dometic's current lineup. The dual motors allow the fans to move cool air faster and more efficiently than a single motor like you would have with a Dometic unit.

Another huge benefit of the Furrion unit is that it already comes with a start capacitor installed on it to an provide an extra boost to help jump-start the AC when a campsite or generator doesn't provide enough power. This will help reduce your energy consumption at startup as well as extend the life of your unit since it won't have to work as hard.

Does the Furrion FR99TD also have dual fans and start capacitor? Looking to get this model as it has the largest btu output of 18k. I'm needing a replacement a/c for my 2009 keystone 38ft.

@Randy it has a single fan and it does not have or need a start capacitor. It has a variable speed compressor and multi-stage startup so you don't get those big power spikes like you do with other RV AC units.
