There are a few things to take into consideration before installing a hitch on a trailer. First, if you still have a warranty on your trailer, you will want to see if installing a hitch will affect the warranty. I contacted Fleetwood, but I could not get any specific information because their trailer division no longer exists, but you should be able to contact their warranty department it your trailers information to get more information. I have come across some popup camper manufacturers do not recommend installing a hitch.

The most universal Rv hitch we carry is the Curt Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch, # 13703. This hitch works with C-channel, box or I-beam frames that are 22 inches to 72 inches wide.

This trailer hitch is essentially a universal application, so it is up to the installer to install the hitch in a structurally safe location. I have attached installation instructions for you to check out.

One thing to keep in mind when using a bike rack on a trailer is that only certain bike racks are rated for use on a trailer. I have attached a link to all of the bike racks that we carry that are acceptable to use on the back of a trailer for you to check out.
