Although, it is important to make sure you have enough height on the roof rack for the sunroof to operate. While we don't have the exact measurements of this system on your 2014 Mazda 6, we do have this system's height when mounted on a 2021 Mazda CX-5 to give you an approximation (see attached video). When mounted on that vehicle, this setup has a height of 3-1/4 inches from the roof to the bottom of the crossbar. In order to make sure you have enough room for your sunroof to open, I recommend measuring the height of the glass when it opens. If you do have enough height, it is important to note that you may have a lot of wind noise from the crossbars.
