Is There a Way to Adapt a Discontinued Thule 575 Snowboard Carrier to Yakima CoreBars
Question:
I am looking for an adapter that I can install a Thule 575 snowboard carrier which has the square bar mounts to my new Yakima core bar. I looked at the Yakima Fat Cat replacement mounting hardware, but I am not sure if that is the correct one. Can you please steer me in the correct direction.

I have a solution for you, but it depends on the construction of your Thule 575 Snowboard Carrier (which has been discontinued). If the mounting adapters for the load bars are riveted on (which is common for that type of carrier) then there is not a way to change out the hardware to be used with the Yakima CoreBars.
You would need to get a new carrier like the Yakima FatCat EVO 4 Ski and Snowboard Carrier # Y03095 which would work with the CoreBars and most other roof rack styles.
If the mounting hardware for your Thule 575 is not riveted and can be removed, please let me know and supply some pictures if possible and I would be happy to look further into a solution for you.
