Will the Curt A16 5th Wheel Hitch Fit Same Rails as Curt A20 5th Wheel Hitch

Question:

I have a Curt E 16 fifth wheel hitch. If I were to upgrade to an A 16 or A 20 hitch, would the base rails fit in the same holes in the truck bed as the E 16?

Yes, the Curt E-Series like part # C16115 fit the same base rails as the Curt A-Series like part # C16140 so you can switch between the two without issue. The old base rails will stay attached to the truck bed and you'd simply just swap out the hitch for one another.

I have a Curt Q16 fifth-wheel hitch. Can I swap the q16 head out for a q20 head?

@BillP No, those would not be interchangeable.
