Yes, a tall van like your Sprinter is absolutely compatible with the Yakima HangOver 6 Bike Rack for Mountain Bikes # Y02485.

The HangOver 6 # Y02485 can be used while tilted back to add clearance from your van; I have added a photo below showing it being used on a tall van. Also, the rack only fits 2 inch hitches which must be a minimum of 12 inches from the ground, and you'll want to keep in mind it measures 8-3/4 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the closest part of the rack.
